Max Armstrong shares new of a food company's work to pay farmers for their work to improve soil health
Max Armstrong looks at how a major food company is working to find ways to compensate farmers for their work on soil health. A pilot program from General Mills aims to pay farmers for their work to improve soil health and to employ regenerative processes. Targeting 650,000 acres, the program will develop ways to measure benefits and develop processes for compensation.
Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
